Sale Representative and Recruitment Officer
This role supports student recruitment and enrolment processes, ensuring smooth administration, effective communication with prospective and current students, and compliance with organisational standards. The position requires both administrative and outreach responsibilities to achieve enrolment targets and provide high-quality student support.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Sales Support
Recruit students from all regions (Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland, etc).
Administer HubSpot, including managing leads from various sources (HubSpot, referrals, community partners).Collect and verify all required student enrolment documentation, ensuring timely upload to SharePoint.Achieve booking targets in line with site intake schedules to support KPIs.Manage phone calls, online enquiries, and communications with potential and current students.Respond to leads in line with agreed business standards, booking appointments or enrolling students directly where appropriate.Conduct community, stakeholder, and business outreach to recruit students.Contribute to student interviews as part of the recruitment process.Customer Service & Student SupportAct as the first point of contact for phone enquiries, providing high-quality customer service.
Assist tutors in following up with absent students (where approved).Provide pastoral care for students (primarily during the first two weeks of a programme, where approved).Liaise with tutors and other staff to support student information needs.Support company events and activities as required.Administration & Data ManagementCollect, analyse, and report data to support organisational decision-making, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Liaise with sales and marketing teams to ensure accuracy of marketing collateral.Coordinate administrative tasks, including arranging supplies, equipment, and materials across departments.Work closely with wider sales and registry teams to ensure accurate enrolments and correct documentation.Maintain confidentiality of all student, staff, and HR matters.Compliance & Organisational StandardsEnsure compliance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS) Manual.
Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.Provide administrative and customer service support that reflects the service culture and ethos of Solomon Group and NZWTS.Participate in team meetings, sales discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement.Travel to other sites as required.Perform any other duties consistent with the position as directed by management.Key Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Proficient in HubSpot, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to build relationships with students, stakeholders, and community partners.Commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and student wellbeing.Note : Solomon Group and NZ Welding Trades and Services will not employ any person in a paid or voluntary capacity (including on a management committee) who has a conviction for sexual crimes or for any offence involving the harm or exploitation of children.
