Bellyful is a volunteer-led charity nourishing whānau and connecting communities by delivering free meals to families with babies and young children who are without a support network.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll help bring Bellyful’s Fundraising Strategy 2025–2027 to life, growing generosity and strengthening the fundraising foundations that keep our mahi thriving.
Your work will help Bellyful continue filling bellies and warming hearts by inspiring supporters, building lasting relationships, and growing the funding that sustains our work. You’ll lead fundraising across individual giving, trusts and foundations, community fundraising, and national corporate partnerships, developing the systems and connections that help us reach more whānau in need.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both strategy and action, planning and doing, and connecting with people to make things happen. You’ll work alongside a small, passionate national team and our incredible volunteer branches to grow generosity and connection right across the Bellyful whānau.
What you’ll do
Bring Bellyful’s Fundraising Strategy 2025–2027 to life, building the systems and relationships that grow our impact
Lead the development of individual giving, trusts and foundations, community fundraising and corporate partnerships
Implement a new fundraising CRM and use data insights to guide strategy and supporter care
Create meaningful donor journeys and campaigns that inspire generosity and connection
Support and empower our volunteer branches to fundraise with confidence through resources, training and encouragement
Collaborate with the Bellyful whānau and share stories that highlights impact and grow our supporter base
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced fundraiser who’s confident leading campaigns, building relationships, and getting things done.
You’ll bring :
Proven experience in fundraising in the not-for-profit sector
A strategic, future-focused mindset with a track record of achieving results
Strong relationship and communication skills – you love connecting with people
Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools to guide your work
A collaborative, hands-on approach and genuine passion for Bellyful’s mission.
