This is a permanent, full-time role based in the Whangārei office, Te Tai Tokerau. Start date is negotiable up to early 2026.

The senior education advisor works with tumuaki, senior school leaders, and Boards of Trustees to strengthen educational performance in schools and kura.

This role is part of our education advisory service, supporting the sector to implement priorities by :

• Communicating government priorities and strategies
• Providing implementation support
• Tracking and reporting on progress
• Working with schools, kura and whānau to support attendance and engagement
• Using available supports and interventions to improve outcomes.

Salary range : $84,425 - $102,271 per annum plus 3% KiwiSaver, with appointment based on skills and experience.
