Manunui School is a U4 primary school, just south of Taumarunui, in a beautiful rural setting — only a short trip to the World Heritage Tongariro National Park, the ski fields of Mt Ruapehu, and the great Lake Taupō.

Due to one of our amazing kaiako moving on at the end of this year, we are excited to offer this opportunity for a fun, energetic, and passionate teacher to join both our team and our community in 2026!

This position is to teach our beautiful Y3 class from the beginning of 2026.

We are looking for a teacher who :

• Builds strong, meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
• Has knowledge of accelerating progress in literacy
• Designs engaging and impactful learning opportunities
• Is comfortable incorporating digital technology into their programme
• Brings a collaborative mindset, is reflective, and is willing to grow their practice
