Registered Midwife - New Graduate Programme

Contract : Permanent, Part Time 0.8 FTE Rostered and Rotating

About the Role

The new graduate midwifery programme at Capital and Coast or Hutt Hospital is tailored to provide a professionally and clinically comprehensive experience.

You will work 8-hour shifts on a rostered and rotating basis, with a workload equivalent to 0.8 full-time employment over 54 weeks in your programme based at Capital and Coast or Hutt Hospital .

This arrangement allows you to strike a balance between your clinical responsibilities, commitments to the Midwifery First Year of Practice (MFYP), and personal life.

Once the programme is completed you will transfer onto the permanent midwife roster.

The salary range for this role is MECA Step 2 Registered Midwife pro rata.

District Chief of Midwives for Capital and Coast and Hutt Hospital, Associate Directors of Midwifery and Midwife Managers.

Our obstetric teams are respectful and collaborative.

We all work alongside our Lead maternity carer colleagues and endeavour to provide the best care for whanau.
