Salary will depend on experience but a range of $68,000 – $78,000 (plus additional benefits) is expected.

You must be currently in New Zealand and have the right to work to be considered for this opportunity.Key RequirementsA minimum of 2-3 years experience working in business advisory within a NZ accounting firmYou have high standards and value accuracy and attention to detailAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with staff and clientsPositive team player with drive to further your career and willingness to take accountability for your own work and developmentStrong written and oral communication and the ability to self-manage and act decisively to solve problemsHave an undergraduate degree in accounting or similarResponsibilitiesPrepare coding of work / client workpapers for annual financial statements / taxation returns for all categories of clients from job allocation stage to review stage.Finalise financial statements / taxation returns following client interview, including monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual accounting for some clients.Preparation of GST / PAYE / FBT / RWT returns in accordance with practice policies / systems in place.Prepare monthly reporting for clients to review stage and prepare correspondence to clients.Responding to client queries appropriately and in a timely manner.Responding to Inland Revenue Department and other agency queries in a timely manner.Undertake special assignments as required by the Partners.Next StepsThis is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a supportive team with excellent professional development opportunities, who also values work-life balance and a positive work culture.
