You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis / rectification of all network equipment and installations while ensuring a safe work environment at all times.Important SkillsIt is essential that you are an experienced Line Mechanic with knowledge of the power industry and can offer the following : EssentialRelevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising licenceNZQF Level 4 qualificationCurrent Class 1 driver's licence (car)Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical WorkDesirableG&B qualificationClass 2 licence2 Years Post Qualification experienceFaults ExperiencePowerco competenciesOur OrganizationDowner\'s Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
