Job Description

We’re looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Henderson site (Alto). The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for the maintenance of all electrical site equipment as well as achieving targeted levels of availability through planned preventative, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance where required.

Your key responsibilities will be to :

• Ensure all electrical systems and equipment comply with NZ Electricity (Safety) Regulations and AS / NZS 3000 standards.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns and develop maintenance plans for key equipment.
• Lead and support automation projects from concept to implementation, including costing and planning.
• Promote high housekeeping standards and ensure food-grade manufacturing risks are managed under HACCP principles.
• Drive health and safety compliance through hazard management, staff training, and regular plant audits.
