Overview

CARTERS Napier is seeking a Yardperson / Forklift operator to join their busy customer services team in the Timber Yard.

In this fast-paced and physical role no day is ever the same.

Your focus will be on providing exceptional service to our valued customers in a timely, professional and safe manner.

Your adaptability and versatility will be key as you will be required to pick orders and serve customers in the timber yard, operate a forklift to unload and load customer orders onto delivery trucks.

About you

Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence

Forklift experience ideally, F Endorsed desirable but not essential

A team player with the right attitude.

A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.

Proven ability to learn systems

Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling

A permanent, full-time job, guaranteed minimum 40 hours, with no work required on Sundays.
