You will join our team of four dentists and three Dental Assistants.

Terms : Permanent 32-40 hours per week

Based : Porirua

The Dental Assistant is responsible for ….

• Preparing and providing a safe clinical environment for clinical dental care, and supporting the dentist; and providing chairside assistance to the dentist and patient throughout the entire appointment
• Advocating, assisting and supporting whanau to access and engage with the dental service
• Following strict infection standards for dental practices at all times, including :
• Hand washing
• Instrument sterilisation
• Sharps and biohazard management
• Chair and equipment management
