Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Operator Jobs in Civil and Water Infrastructure

Operate and maintain plant, equipment, and tools safely and effectively, following all procedures and health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate records of jobs completed, materials used, and observations as part of reporting requirements.

Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process, equipment, or safety enhancements.

What You Bring – Skills & Experience Required for Maintenance Operator Roles

Previous Operator experience in a maintenance, operations, or related field within water, wastewater, civil construction, or infrastructure sectors

Comfortable working outdoors and in a variety of environmental conditions.

Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practice, with a personal focus on safe working behaviours.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Willingness to learn, adapt, and undertake training as needed.

Valid New Zealand driver's licence Class 4 and WTR

Legal right to work in New Zealand.
