Overview

Prometal Industries, established in 1987, provides manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication services to all sectors in local and export markets. Located in Russley Business Park, we utilise up-to-date equipment and IT to accomplish organisational needs, with customer satisfaction at the forefront of our focus. Responsibilities

Set and run CNC laser cutting machines to achieve optimum productivity and quality.
Load packs of material into the machine and store using a forklift.
Operate CNC equipment across a range of materials, and work with computer consoles and semiautomated machinery.
Monitor and adjust machines as needed to ensure efficient operation and quality output.

Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing / production environment operating CNC equipment (preferably laser cutting, but not essential).

Experience setting / operating CNC Turret Punches and / or Press Brakes is an added bonus.

A current forklift license (preferably with a F endorsement).

Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings with good attention to detail.

Problem-solving and self-management skills.

Exceptional communication and organisational skills.

Desire to be part of a team that strives for continuous improvement.
