About this role

I-MED Radiology Network is Australasia's leading radiology provider, operating 250 clinics with over 4,500 employees and performing over 6 million patient procedures each year. This makes I-MED one of the largest providers of medical imaging in the world.

In 2022, I-MED Radiology's clinic network expanded across the Tasman following the acquisitions of Hamilton Radiology, Midland MRI Hamilton, Focus Radiology and Mokoia Radiology located in New Zealand's North Island.

We are now accepting expressions of interest for an exciting MRI Technologist position within our Midland MRI Hamilton  organisation, both full time and part time applications will be considered. Ideal candidates are MRI Technologists experienced in all aspects of MRI imaging who know what it takes to deliver a polished and professional service to clients and visitors.

About Midland MRI Hamilton :

Currently we have a total of 5 MRI scanners located across 3 locations - at the Anglesea Imaging Centre, Waikato Hospital and Braemar Hospital with further development opportunities planned.

In addition to the private and ACC referrals, Midland MRI Hamilton is the sole provider of MRI scans for Waikato Hospital. This ensures our team are exposed to an exciting and unique blend of cases including acute, inpatient examinations. Weekend and evening shifts are required to meet the referral volumes, these shifts are covered by the qualified MR Technologists.

The successful applicant will require :

  • General radiography experience

  • A full MRI scope of practice with ideally 2 years' experience
  • Current registration with the New Zealand MRTB and a current Annual Practicing Certificate with an MRI scope
