Committed to maintaining excellent customer service while ensuring items are delivered in perfect condition.ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and goods to residential and commercial locations on time.Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS and local knowledge.Verify delivery information, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation for each delivery.Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring secure handling to prevent damage or loss.Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times or address issues.Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.Handle urgent or time-sensitive deliveries with a sense of urgency and professionalism.Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery location.Assist with basic warehouse duties such as sorting, scanning, or organizing parcels during downtime.Requirements3 years of courier driver experience or Level 1 qualificationValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs or more)Excellent navigation skills and strong knowledge of local routes (with or without GPS)Proven ability to meet tight delivery deadlines under pressureWillingness to work long, irregular, and flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysWillingness to work in varied weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.)Basic understanding of safety regulations and vehicle maintenanceMust pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) checkMust pass a pre-employment drug testBasic English communication required (verbal and written)
