Takanini School has been successfully selected to participate in the Ministry of Education's new Maths Acceleration Programme (MAP) , designed to lift achievement in mathematics for students in Y0–6.
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to lead the delivery of this 12-week targeted programme , supporting students who require additional learning acceleration to access year-level mathematical content.
The successful applicant will :
Deliver MAP teaching modules and resources provided by the Ministry of Education.
Work closely with classroom teachers to support students' mathematical understanding.
Engage in professional learning focused on building expertise in mathematics and effective pedagogy.
Contribute to developing a community of practice and growing maths leadership within the school.

The successful teacher will hold a full NZ teacher registration.
