The Position :

We are recruiting for a Clinical Consultants that will play a vital role in the moments that matter most – the seconds, minutes and hours in which patients lives are changed forever by the skills and knowledge of care givers. This is a fast-paced role working in a theatre environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Provide technical and clinical specialist expertise to internal and external customers
  • Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products
  • Conduct in-service training and support our Territory Managers
  • Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related problems and / or issues related to a customer’s application of a product.
  • Interact with various internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product development) concerning products and product application.
  • Maintain product / instrumentation knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other available means.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Science or Engineering, as well as an understanding of the operating theatre environment.
  • Previous orthopaedic exposure or knowledge would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for a successful patient out come every time will ensure your success in this role.
  • Have solid computer skills, a strong knowledge of safe work practices and great communication skills
