Located in the heart of Rolleston, our store has been a vibrant part of the local café scene, combining the sophistication of the brand with the warmth and independence of a local café. We operate with significant autonomy : the local team manages its own suppliers of produce and food items, develops menu options tailored to community preferences, and delivers a distinctive customer experience that reflects both the brand’s identity and local culture.

Due to the store owner’s growing family commitments, we are now seeking a capable hospitality professional to take charge of day-to-day operations and ensure consistent, high-quality performance across all aspects of the café.

About the position

This position is responsible for managing the smooth and efficient operation of Black & White Coffee Cartel Rolleston. The role requires a capable hospitality professional who can lead the team, uphold brand standards, and make independent operational decisions to ensure excellent customer experiences and strong overall performance.

Summary of key information

• Nature of employment : Permanent full-time
• Remuneration : $33.60 to $35.60 per hour
• Overtime rate : at the rate of normal salary for any time worked in addition to an ordinary work week
• Minimum guaranteed hours of work : 30 hours per week.
• Maximum hours of work : 40 hours per week
• Location of work : 63 Tennyson Street, Rolleston, Canterbury
