Senior Bas Accountant / Assistant Manager

The firm are looking for an experienced accountant who is looking to operate at the Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager level.

There are progression opportunities on offer long term, so someone who desires this progression is encouraged to apply.

You will have a minimum of 4 years accounting experience and it is vital that at least the majority of this comes from New Zealand companies.

You will get a varied mix of work, with compliance responsibilities being phased out eventually, as you look to split your time between advisory and management responsibilities while at the firm.

Strong interpersonal skills are crucial due to the need to lead / mentor Graduate - Intermediate Accountants internally, but also to ensure you are capable of being client facing and have the answers to tough questions which will be thrown your way!

It is expected that you will be CA qualified for this role.

Having experience with Xero and other software would be an advantage as well.
