Jasmax invites Maori and Pasifika architecture students - currently in their second year of bachelor's study - to apply for the
Te Ara Takitini | Guiding Light Mentoring Programme.
Rooted in the values of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and ako, this programme offers real-world insights, hands-on learning, and meaningful design-industry connections.
Successful applicants will be matched with experienced mentors, attend tailored sessions, and gain guidance through the final three years of study.
If you're passionate about design, proud of your identity, and ready to grow your architectural career, this is your path forward.

To apply for the Guiding Light Mentoring Programme, you should be :
A current
Maori or Pasifika student
enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture programme at a New Zealand university
Currently in your
second year
of study (Entering your final year of the bachelor's programme in 2026)
Passionate about architecture and eager to grow personally and professionally
Willing to share your story, cultural values, and aspirations in a short-written statement
Open to mentorship, connection, and reciprocal learning
Optional but welcome :
A CV, portfolio, or work samples to help us understand your journey
