Deepsea Fishing Crew Candidates

OverviewTalley's is proudly New Zealand owned and operated.

We run five deep sea fishing vessels with primarily Kiwi crews bringing the best New Zealand seafood to the world.

We're looking for prospective crew members who are interested in a career in deepsea fishing.The adventure begins with a five day pre-employment course in Nelson.

You'll be given specialized training to get you ready for sea.

We'll put you through NZQA unit standards in health & safety, firefighting, sea survival and seafood handling.

You'll also do practical sessions in the pool, and the gym to test you mentally and physically for the conditions at sea.

If you're from out of town, we'll provide you with accommodation and food during the course, you just have to get yourself to Nelson.Course and TrainingUpon successfully completing the course, you'll be invited to join our crew.

You'll earn great money on board our fleet of modern vessels, all with comfortable cabins, usually with an ensuite.

Most of our fleet also have an onboard gym, WIFI and plenty of space to relax in your downtime.And you don't spend much on living when you're out at sea.
