We are looking for a registered nurse with experience in primary care to join our team to cover Parental Leave for 8 months

Part time - 19 hours per week

About Team Medical -

Team Medical is a locally owned practice working in association with Green Cross Health.

We are an integrated family health centre passionately providing a full range of GP Care to our enrolled patients and Urgent Care for accidents and urgent medical needs to our community.

As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast our GP services typically operate Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.

Our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm.We also offer full X-Ray facilities on site.

About the Position and You :

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our kaimahi.

You will have a professional positive attitude with outrageously good customer service skills.

In addition to a broad, expert nursing knowledge across the age spectrum, our enrolled population demographic is suited to someone with a developed expertise in care of the older person and chronic conditions management.

Key attributes include :

Clinical experience and passion for, primary care and primary care nursing

Great communication skills at all levels with patients, their whanau, your whanau mahi colleagues and allied business partners

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Commitment to honouring Tiriti o Waitangi in delivery of healthcare

Commitment to the principles and practices of health equity

MedTech / Evolution experience preferred

You must be registered with current practicing and CPR certificates

Authorised Vaccinator / Cervical Smear Taker (preferred)
