• Mō te tūnga | About the role
• In this position, you will be joining a well-established and collaborative team at Kauri Point.Typically you will be :
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of stock.
• Purchase ordering for NZDF.
• Monitoring and replenishing stock levels.
• Managing existing and future orders with a range of local & external suppliers.
• Regularly liaising with stakeholders – depots, external suppliers and units.Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option for flexible working arrangements, including working from home for 1-2 days per week.Please note : Applications may be reviewed upon receipt. • Along with purchasing experience and ideally inventory management experience, the following key skills are required :
• Expertise in SAP IM, purchasing and reporting functionalities.
• Intermediate computer skills in the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to provide quality, efficient customer service.
• Self-motivated and highly organised.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and relationship management skills are a must, as you will be responsible for nurturing working relationships with a range of key suppliers and internal customers.
