What you'll do :
We're looking for an experienced Electrician to support our Rankine and Gas Turbine teams in Huntly.
As an Operator Maintainer - Electrical your key focus will be on the operation and maintenance of the generation and auxiliary plant, while ensuring resource consent, health and safety policies and regulation requirements are met.
Reporting to our Maintenance Programme Manager - Gas Turbine, your key responsibilities include :
Reporting on the plant conditions, remedying defects, managing audit and operation documentation.
Support implementation of the asset management plan through undertaking assigned, preventative and defect maintenance tasks, site checks and enhancements, management of work packages.
Fully utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System to capture all plant knowledge through comprehensive reporting of failures / defects, accurate reporting of time spent against tasks, the purchase of any equipment / materials
Keep maintenance related documentation and records up to date, including : Procedures, PM Work Orders, Job Plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
The role involves shift work for up to six months a year and requires 1-2 years of operational training.
What you'll need :

3-5 years' experience in electrical maintenance within heavy industrial / engineering environment
Current NZ Full EWRB Registration
Flexibility, this role includes both day and shift work
Hazardous area experience and / or endorsements would be beneficial.
