We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven, proactive Accounts Officer to join our Transactions team at Orion Health, based in Auckland! If you enjoy juggling AR and AP responsibilities in a global tech environment—and love a bit of process improvement on the side—this role could be your perfect next step.

As an Accounts Officer, you’ll take full ownership of our Accounts Receivable and support key elements of Accounts Payable. Your day-to-day will involve invoicing, credit control, applying payments, reconciling bank transactions, and supporting month-end close. You’ll also enter supplier invoices, assist with payment runs, and manage both internal and external finance interactions. With multi-entity and multi-currency exposure, there’s plenty to keep things interesting!

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience : You’ll have at least 3 years of experience in a similar finance role, ideally with a focus on AR. Experience working across both AP and AR—and in a multi-entity or global business—is a strong plus.
  • Skills : You’re comfortable using NetSuite and Excel, understand manual data entry processes, and have a keen eye for accuracy. Familiarity with multiple currencies and intercompany transactions is a bonus.
  • Characteristics : You’re proactive and enjoy improving processes. Communicating clearly, documenting procedures, and building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams all come naturally to you.
  • Qualifications : A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is great to have, but your experience and mindset matter most to us.
