About the Role
The Business Analyst operates at the delivery level, providing analytical and problem-solving expertise to represent the interests of stakeholders and business needs within Digital Services. This role collaborates closely with project teams, business stakeholders, delivery team members, and other Business Analysts to accurately capture requirements for change. The Business Analyst ensures that business needs are effectively translated into actionable specifications, aligning solutions with strategic business objectives and desired outcomes.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Business Analyst sits within the Digital Delivery function, part of the broader Digital Services Group at Health New Zealand. Reporting to senior delivery leadership, this role is part of a national team focused on translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support the successful delivery of digital initiatives. The team works closely with project teams, business stakeholders, delivery team members, and other Business Analysts to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic objectives. Committed to fostering strong collaboration and analytical rigor, the team plays a key role in driving effective change and supporting Health New Zealand's ongoing digital transformation efforts.
About you
You are a skilled business analysis professional with experience working within delivery teams in complex organisations. You bring a pragmatic, detail-oriented approach and strong analytical skills, enabling you to accurately capture business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you are committed to supporting effective solution delivery and continuous improvement.
