We’re seeking a senior statistical analyst with strong coding skills and a passion for data. In this role, you’ll work with large, complex datasets to uncover insights that support smarter decision-making across Waka Kotahi and the wider transport sector.

We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $109,408 and $121,564 commensurate with skills and experience.

System Leadership has a tight focus on setting direction and priorities for NZTA through strategy, policy, planning, evidence and insights. We are not in the business of delivery; we provide guidance so other business groups responsible for delivery can align their activity to this direction. We also have a tight focus on understanding and evaluating the impact of this delivery to hold NZTA to account and inform adjustments to its direction.
