If you're looking for a long-term career opportunity with a Main Contractor, where you can develop your skills and be part of an industry-leading organisation, this role is for you.PurposeTo be responsible for the installation of mains and services to required standards.ResponsibilitiesMaintain own and others health and safetyCarry out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites as instructedFollow health and hygiene rulesEnsure that work is undertaken with due regard to the environment : prevent contamination to water supplies and water courses; maintain site cleanliness; prevent spills; minimise disturbance to members of the public; avoid damage to trees; dispose of waste only as authorisedExcavate holes using safe digging methods to avoid damage to underground utility apparatusManhandle materials, plant and equipmentInstall pipes and fittings to the appropriate standards ensuring, in particular, that good jointing and hygiene practices are followedDrive Company vehicles with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and other road users for authorised business purposesOperate mobile plant for authorised business purposesMaintain site, vehicle, plant and equipment tidiness and securityInstall and maintain road works to "Chapter 8" standardAssist members of the public, clients' representatives and other officials in relation to Company businessMaintain safety, environmental and quality recordsReport any accidents, near misses, faults, damages or defects using appropriate documentationUndertake any other reasonable instructions given by management or supervisionQualificationsWater Safety 'Passport' (EUSR)National Water Hygiene registration (EUSR)NRSWA (Units 1-3 minimum)CSCS cardCat & Genny360 operators ticketDumper operators ticketButt FusionElectro FusionFirst aidWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career progression aligned with the company's growthImmediate interview for qualified candidatesHow To ApplyIf you're ready to be part of our expanding team and contribute to our success, apply today for immediate consideration.
