    NOTE : This role is not suitable for CAP graduates or current IQN applicants as it requires an in-depth knowledge of working within a kaupapa Māori-based organisation

    About the Role

    A committed and adaptable Registered Nurse is needed to join a dynamic team providing primary health care across four GP clinics in the Waikato region. With a patient base of approximately 10,000, this role plays a vital part in supporting hauora services for whanau and communities.

    This is a Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm position, delivering quality care in a values-led environment that prioritises teamwork, whanau wellbeing, and cultural responsiveness.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care services
    • Administer vaccinations and cervical smears (must have current certification)
    • Support chronic condition management (e.g. diabetes, smoking cessation)
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best practice standards
    • Build positive relationships with patients, whanau, and the wider care team
    • Rotate across clinics as needed based on service requirements

      Applicants MUST hold registration and a current APC with the NZNC

      Successful applicants will have :

    • Current Vaccinator Training and Smear Training certification
    • Proven experience in primary care or general practice settings
    • Additional training across any of the following : Diabetes management, smoking cessation, Te Reo Maori
    • A full clean drivers licence
