About the Role
A committed and adaptable Registered Nurse is needed to join a dynamic team providing primary health care across four GP clinics in the Waikato region. With a patient base of approximately 10,000, this role plays a vital part in supporting hauora services for whanau and communities.
This is a Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm position, delivering quality care in a values-led environment that prioritises teamwork, whanau wellbeing, and cultural responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care services
- Administer vaccinations and cervical smears (must have current certification)
- Support chronic condition management (e.g. diabetes, smoking cessation)
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best practice standards
- Build positive relationships with patients, whanau, and the wider care team
- Rotate across clinics as needed based on service requirements
- Salary aligned with Primary Care MECA
- Annual Practising Certificate (APC) renewal covered
- Supportive, kaupapa Māori-based team culture
- Comprehensive wellbeing programme
- Funded CORE First Aid training
- Current Vaccinator Training and Smear Training certification
- Proven experience in primary care or general practice settings
- Additional training across any of the following : Diabetes management, smoking cessation, Te Reo Maori
- A full clean drivers licence
