Lead Product Manager - Gen AI

Job description7+ years of product management experience, ideally in tech. Hands-on experience building AI-powered products or features, especially in generative or automation spaces. Fluent in technology and comfortable discussing architecture or reading code to inform trade-offs. Thrives in ambiguity with a track record of delivering real customer impact. Balances user needs, technical constraints, and commercial goals to find optimal solutions. Acts with a business owner mindset, with the ability to connect product decisions to P&L impact and market dynamics. Bonus : background in creative tools, content creation platforms, or workflows. Flexible Working : remote-first with flexibility for work-life balance. Work from Anywhere : option to work from another location for up to 3 months per calendar year. Connection Budget : annual budget to connect with the team IRL where possible. Learning Budget : study leave and annual budget for learning and development. Home Office Allowance : contribution toward setup and a monthly allowance for remote work costs. Wellbeing : access to a holistic assistance program for life and health support. Envato is a purpose-driven company empowering creatives to thrive. As our Lead Product Manager for GenAI, you will own the end-to-end direction and delivery for Envato's AI-powered tools. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of strategy and execution, focused on making AI an indispensable partner for our users to get their work done better, faster, and with less friction.
This role is about leading a revolution in the creative workflow, diving deep into the tech, obsessing over users’ needs, and rallying teams to build AI products that creatives love. Success means delivering a massive, measurable impact on our community and our business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the AI product playbook, translating ambitious strategic opportunities into clear, actionable roadmaps that deliver real results.
- Champion our creatives by embedding deep customer understanding into every product decision.
- Define a crystal-clear product direction for our AI tools, linking the team’s daily work to our biggest goals.
- Lead cross-functional delivery with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality work at pace.
- Collaborate with technical teams to shape solutions and explore emerging technologies to unlock value.
- Embrace a build, measure, learn mindset—ship fast, validate early, and use data to guide next moves.
- Drive momentum and alignment across multiple teams, leading through influence and execution.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless and top-tier product delivery.
