In this role most of your time will be focused on developing new business in the area.
As the main point of contact for our various trade customers, you will be responsible for managing accounts, seeking new business opportunities, and finding ways of adding value to our customers' businesses.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the established customer base are receiving exceptional service and growing those relationships
Working with the Branch Manager on building new business in the area
Developing and maintaining a structured call cycle across the territory
Seeking ways to improve our offer and add value to our customers' business
Working with our vendors to increase knowledge and gain market share
Helping develop and support the service offering within the branch to ensure our customers' expectations are exceeded
Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
What we're looking for
Proven success previously in a sales and / or account management role and / or hands on experience within the industry
Strong customer service focus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and discuss and relay technical information
Good time management
High work ethic and a determination to deliver team success
A desire to learn and ensure you are always up to date with the latest product information
