The role

We're seeking a hands-on Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee daily machining and fabrication operations at our Levin facility.

You'll coordinate people, equipment, and workflow to meet production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support machinists and team leaders to meet output goals.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards (ISO

Monitor production schedules, materials, and machine performance.

Promote Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide coaching, training, and support to develop team capability.

About you

You'll have strong technical knowledge of machining processes (CNC and manual), proven leadership experience, and a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and experience

Trade qualification in engineering, machining, or fabrication.

5+ years' experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Familiarity with TPM, ERP, and Lean manufacturing systems.
