McConnell Dowell is delivering some of New Zealand’s most exciting infrastructure projects, and our Dunedin team is growing. We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven Document Controller to help us stay organised and efficient as we deliver work that connects and strengthens local communities.

About The Role

As our Document Controller, you’ll play a key role in managing, distributing, and maintaining all project documentation. You’ll ensure that drawings, reports, and technical documents are up to date, properly stored, and easily accessible for the team. You’ll also support communication and coordination between stakeholders, helping keep projects on track and compliant.

Reporting to National Quality Manager of New Zealand, the Document Controller is responsible for :

• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the project software for document and correspondence control and distribution.
• Responsible for the document retention, retrieval and filing of the project documentation.
• Responsible for the issuance and distribution of documents and maintenance of relevant registers.
• Co‑ordinates with Managers, Engineers and Superintendents on documentation control.
• Maintains the Document Control System for the overall project.
