As a Bridge & Structures Engineer, you’ll support the safe design, inspection, and maintenance of our bridges, tunnels, culverts, retaining walls, and other structures.

You’ll work with consultants, contractors, and colleagues to deliver engineering solutions that balance safety, cost, and service reliability. From overseeing inspections and advising on upgrades, to contributing to asset management strategies, your expertise will help ensure our rail network is safe and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe design, inspection, and maintenance of bridges, tunnels, culverts, retaining walls, and other structures.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and colleagues to deliver engineering solutions that balance safety, cost, and service reliability.
• Oversee inspections and advise on upgrades; contribute to asset management strategies to ensure a safe and resilient rail network.
