As a

Catering Assistant atAir NZTauranga Airport

, you'll help deliver daily food service to customers in a busy and rewarding environment.

You'll assist with food preparation, maintain clean and welcoming dining areas, and provide friendly, professional customer service that reflects Compass Group's high standards.

This is a

Permanent Full Time

Position rostered across 7 days of the week and therefore, you

MUST

be available to work during weekends.

Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating.

Deliver warm, friendly customer service and respond to requests promptly.

Maintain clean and tidy kitchen, dining, and public areas.

Wash dishes and sanitise kitchen equipment.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.

Experience in a similar catering or hospitality role.

Flexible, reliable, and physically fit with a strong work ethic.

Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

A positive attitude and commitment to customer service.

NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) preferred.
