We're looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at the Qantas Lounge in Wellington Airport.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service to Qantas guests, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and efficient lounge experience.

Ko o kawenga | Your Responsibilities

Deliver warm and professional customer service, responding to requests and feedback.Provide food and beverage service, including responsible alcohol service.Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation for service.Maintain clean and hygienic dining and kitchen areas, including stock rotation and waste handling.Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.

A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently when needed.Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is a plus.Holds a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.Able to pass a police clearance and pre-employment checks.
