About the Role
Due to continued growth, our Transmission & Distribution team is expanding, and we're excited to welcome a
Graduate-level Engineer
to support a wide range of impactful projects across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia.
How you'll make a difference :
As a graduate project engineer, you'll be mentored by industry experts while gaining hands-on experience in the design and delivery of transmission line projects.
You'll be involved in :
Supporting the concept and detailed design of transmission lines using industry-standard tools such as PLS-CADD.
Assisting with structural assessments and designs of towers and poles using Excel, PLS-TOWER, and PLS-POLE.
Learning to design various foundation types, including grillage, direct-embed, and pile foundations.
Contributing to design reports and project documentation.
Participating in site visits and inspections to see your designs come to life.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree :
A recently completed or soon-to-be completed degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Graduate Year :
You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
Commencement :
You must be able to commence work by February 2026.
We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
A strong interest in transmission line design and a desire to work in the energy infrastructure sector.
Familiarity with design software (e.g., PLS-CADD) is a plus, but not essential – we'll train you!
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
A proactive, self-motivated mindset and a passion for solving real-world engineering challenges.
