Structural Engineer

About the CompanyArchway Recruitment are currently working with an engineering consultancy based in South Auckland, who are on the lookout for a talented Structural Engineer with around three to four years' experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join a supportive, forward-thinking team and get stuck into a wide variety of projects across the Auckland region.ResponsibilitiesMedium–large scale residential developmentsCommercial and industrial buildingsSeismic assessments and strengthening projectsStructural design for refurbishments and new buildsCommunity and public sector developmentsQualificationsBE (Civil / Structural) or equivalent with 3–4 years of local consulting experienceSolid technical knowledge in steel, reinforced concrete, and timber designExposure to design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SPACEGASS or similar)Sound understanding of the NZ Building Code and relevant standardsStrong communication skills and the ability to work with architects, contractors, and clientsWhat's in it for you?
