OverviewSenior Engineer - Pavements and Surfacing – Hamilton, New Zealand.

The role is a key position within the Pavements Engineering team at WSP.

You will support clients with pavement analysis and design of civil engineering projects, including roads, airports, ports and industrial pavements.ResponsibilitiesProvide pavement analysis and design for civil engineering projects, including roads, airports, ports and industrial pavements.Execute pavement site investigations, analysis, design and reporting.Collaborate with a wide team and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.Incorporate innovative approaches to design work and other aspects of the role.Monitor pavement construction as appropriate; experience in construction monitoring is desirable.Qualifications and skillsPreferably a minimum of 8 years' experience in a pavement engineering profession.Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or actively working toward it, or equivalent.Relevant experience with pavement site investigations, analysis, pavement design and reporting.Good knowledge of pavement engineering software (e.g., CIRCLY, AustPADS, etc.).
