Job descriptionPrepare and serve hot and cold meals incl drinks, as and when required. Provide special dietary requirements where necessary and take into account the preferences of individual clients. Liaise with the manager when planning menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet. Arrange / participate in Staff and Client meetings as required. Maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer / fridge temperatures. Ensure stock rotation. Order stocks and check deliveries and check and value stocks as requested by the manager. Prepare Staff rotation. Interview new staff members with manager when required. Supervise and train Staff members. Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence. Attend mandatory training days / courses when required. Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained.
Other areas of Responsibility :
- Follow Shamiana sales, operational and administrative systems and processes at all time
- At all times be well presented, punctual and be prepared in advance for all work requirements
- Follow the directions and instructions of the Management team as it relates to your position
- Take on any other duties that the employer deems suitable
