Base pay range

NZ$130,000.00 / yr - NZ$135,000.00 / yr

Customer, Onboarding and Identity Domain (COI) is responsible for digitally identifying, authorizing, capturing, storing and protecting information about our customers. The Maverick team makes it easy for our consumers to manage customer information through safe and simple services.

Location and work style

This is an Auckland based hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.

We sat down with the People Leader (who you would report to) and they told us the following about the role :

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

• Technical Expertise / Task : Creating automation test framework creation, prepare the automation test script, execute and maintain them. Report & track the defect until closer.
• Strategic thinking : Designing scalable automation frameworks, implementing shift-left testing, and ensuring high test coverage.
• Problem Solving : Handling flaky test, debugging efficiently, and optimizing test execution for faster feedback.
• Leadership & Collaboration : Mentoring juniors, collaborating with engineers, and improving the automation strategies to align with business goal.
• Business Impact : Reducing the manual effort, improving release cycle & quality and tracking key metrics like defect leakage and automation ROI.

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?

Some of APIs are .net based application and legacy services. Hence its good to have .net basic knowledge.
