Join to apply for the Field Technician role at Tonkin + Taylor
We are seeking a motivated Field Technician to join our dynamic Hawkes Bay team on a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to dive in, learn, and develop their skills. The role involves hands‑on, physical work, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is essential.
We work on a number of large-scale infrastructure projects around New Zealand, enjoying a sense of achievement from getting involved in a range of work, and thrive on the learning opportunities provided. In this role, you will be expected to perform field testing to a high level of accuracy. The work will be hands‑on and physical, and therefore requires a reasonable degree of physical capability and, at times, may involve working in adverse environmental conditions. The nature of the work may require early starts, late finishes and occasional overtime.
