Be a part of a well-established team responsible for installing, servicing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems across Hawke’s Bay. Your work will span commercial and industrial sites within Hawkes Bay, with occasional travel to Gisborne.
This role is with a proudly locally owned and operated Hawke’s Bay business, known for its down-to-earth people, reliable service, and decades of experience with strong workloads across commercial and industrial clients.
Reporting to the Alarms Supervisor, a reputable name in the industry with 25+ years’ experience. They run a supportive, practical team where everyone enjoys the work they do.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Fire alarm testing, maintenance, and fault-finding
- Cable runs, repairs, and system upgrades
- Assisting with sprinkler and alarms work where required
- Working in roof spaces, plant rooms, and commercial / industrial environments
- Completing work for Fire Service Contracts and ongoing servicing
- Accurate job reporting and documentation
- Providing great service to a long list of loyal, long-standing customers
