Directional Driller

Our client is looking for experienced drillers to join their civil construction team in the Waikato.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be operating machinery and supporting key projects across Hamilton and the wider region.About the role : As a Driller, you'll be involved in underground thrusting, horizontal drilling, trenching and site preparation.

You'll be working with modern equipment and technology to get the job done safely and to a high standard.

This role is suited to someone who's fit, motivated, and able to handle a mix of machinery operation and manual work in all conditions.What you'll be doing : Operating drilling and trenching machineryCarrying out horizontal drilling and underground thrustingAssisting with general labouring on-siteLeading or supporting drill crews to meet deadlinesWorking safely in a variety of outdoor conditionsWhat we're looking for : Proven experience in drilling or a similar roleStrong leadership skills and the ability to run a crewA good understanding of safety protocolsFull NZ Driver's Licence (WT endorsement preferred)Physically fit and reliableAble to pass a pre-employment drug testNZ residency or valid work visaWhat you'll get : Good pay ratesOngoing work with a leading civil construction crewOpportunities to upskill and developA team culture built on respect, safety and quality
