About the Role :

Join a leading steel roofing manufacturer for a potential 6-months role as a Machine Operator. Support the paint line team in a well-run production facility, gain valuable experience, and earn great pay.

Location : Penrose

Pay Rate : $29.74 / hour

Shifts : Rotating 3-week roster| Mon-Sat | 12.25-hour shifts | Day & Night

Type : Potentially (6 Months), Full-time

What You'll Be Doing :

Machine Operation & Labouring - 70%

• Operate automated heavy machinery, including start-up and shut-down procedures
• Load raw materials into machines efficiently and safely
• Conduct quality checks and visual inspections during production
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and surrounding work areas
• Assist with moving stock and products throughout the warehouse as needed

Forklift Operation - 20%

• Operate a 5T counterbalance forklift (valid licence preferred - training available if required)

Shift Overview :

Work on a consistent 3-week rotating roster, with two day shifts and two night shifts scheduled between Monday and Saturday.

• Day Shift : 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 00 PM
• Night Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 00 AM
• Every Sunday Off

What We're Looking For :

• Someone with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically fit , with good attention to detail
• Previous experience in rotating shift work preferred
• Able to follow instructions and work safely
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence : Preferred, training provided
• Driver's Licence : Restricted or Full
• Machine operation or production experience is a bonus - not essential
