Machinery Operator

Viticultura are looking for a Machinery Operator.

We are a vineyard contract management company based in Cromwell, Central Otago.

We manage vineyards throughout the whole of the Central Otago wine region.Do you enjoy working outside?

Are you self motivated and a team player?

Do you have experience driving tractors and an aptitude for machinery?

The role includes but not limited to : Operating and maintaining specialized vineyard equipmentCarry out the application of agrichemicals in accordance with Sustainable wine growing requirements, and management of AgrichemicalsEnsure all spray diaries, job sheets and records are kept currentRequired skills / qualities : Must hold a current New Zealand drivers licensePrior machinery / tractor experience : understanding of agrichemical applicationAbility to work under pressure, unsupervised and as part of a teamOrganisational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detailBonus points if you have these : Grow safe certificateExperience with NupointIf you have a passion for wine and grapes, a strong set of machinery skills, and would like to be part of a fun and dynamic team, please get in touch.If you do not have the above experience but believe you have a good skill set with some tractor experience, please also get in touch.
