Overview
We are growing the Sales team and looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our team and help expand our presence in New Zealand. This is a full-time, remote position based out of New Zealand.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and has a positive attitude with a passion for building customer relationships and closing new business opportunities. The Commercial Account Executive must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements and support new customers through onboarding. As part of the Sales team, you will be in a fast-paced startup environment driven to exceed performance objectives and will develop a strong knowledge of Fivetran’s solutions.
From Fivetran’s founding, our mission has been to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity — so customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required.

What You’ll Do
Help to establish Fivetran as the premier Data Movement platform in New ZealandDrive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievementWork with new customers to drive adoption and help them realize value as quickly as possibleCollaborate with channel partners and develop superior solutions that exceed customer expectationsDetermine customer requirements and present appropriate solutionsEffectively communicate through excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsLiaise with and leverage internal stakeholders across multiple timezones to meet the demands of our customers (e.g., Deal Desk, Legal, Operations)Attend a one-week Revenue Bootcamp during the second week at Fivetran; this onboarding component requires travel and is mandatorySkills We’re Looking For
