We are seeking to recruit a team of part-time and casual Lifeguards for our new state-of-the-art recreation centre opening in late 2024, which will be a hub for sport, health, and wellbeing at our university.
As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons using our pool facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain new skills and be part of a team opening a new aquatic facility.

Hours
We are currently recruiting for full-time, part-time and casual positions. This advert is for a casual and part-time positions with a range of work patterns, including opening and closing shifts :
Part-time hours :
Monday to Friday shift times include :
Weekend shifts
Casual Hours :
Casual hours will be on-demand work covering peaks and staff absences.
As our centre opens 7 days a week, the ability to work early and late shifts, as well as weekends, is crucial in this role.
Salary
The salary range for this role is $ to $ per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Start Date
Training starts on Monday 2nd September.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for lifeguarding, strong customer service skills, and a dedication to creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all university community members.
While having a lifeguard qualification is not essential ( full training provided), it is highly advantageous.
