Overview

Are you a former Airline or GA pilot looking to share your knowledge and passion for aviation with the next generation of pilots? Air Hawke’s Bay is seeking a full-time lecturer to deliver PPL, CPL, IFR, and ATPL theory subjects year-round, and to contribute to course development and continuous improvement.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a dedicated instructional team delivering high-quality ground theory to both domestic and international students.

• Air Law
• Meteorology
• Navigation
• Human Factors
• Principles of Flight
• Aircraft Technical Knowledge
• Instrument Flight Rules (IFR)
• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) modules

Responsibilities

This position involves classroom-based teaching, student mentoring, and collaboration with our flight training team to ensure a seamless integration between theory and practical flying. You will also assist with ongoing course design, development, and improvement to maintain high standards of training and compliance.
