Warehouse Storeperson / Customer Service

Key Responsibilities :

maintenance of stock control

operating forklift, transferring stock between trucks and store area

check inwards goods and receipt stock into accounting system

check supplier costs on goods received, ensure costs match those in our accounting system

check supplier costs on goods received, endure costs match those in our accounting system

transfer inwards goods into designated areas

pick, pack, check and dispatch customer orders

file delivery dockets, invoices etc

keep abreast of freight costs

contact suppliers regarding damaged goods, short deliveries, credits etc

ensure that maintenance of truck and forklift are carried out on a regular basis

assist with stocktakes as required

keep the warehouse, storepersons office and amenities in a clean and tidy condition

ensure buildings and griunds are kept clean, tidy and weed free

answer phones and assist in shop when asked by managers

What we are looking for :

Proven history in warehouse operations with some customer service sales experience

current clean drivers and forklift licences

basic computer literacy

great attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork

strong customer service skills and a positive attitude

honedt, reliable, punctual and takes pride in your work

a team player who is happy to help where needed
