ALS Environmental Division operates a modern laboratory at Ruakura Research Centre in Hamilton that is equipped with the latest in analytical technology. The division is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to become a part of the Environmental team that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with their clients. This is a permanent position with the full-time hours Monday to Friday.

The day to day

• Preparing samples and carrying out testing in a
• Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Performing housekeeping duties as required.
• Perform media production and stock control as required.
• Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies.
• Ensuring that analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with the ALS Quality Systems.
• Working in fast paced environment with deadlines
